Those who know me, know that I am not amused by bogus claims and threads like this.

And as is usual, careful vetting of the claim: along with a knowledge of history, and what the involved people actually looked like,
immediately reveals the spurious nature of the claim.

First of all, thamm1 was quoting from a modern White mans "NOVEL" NOT the Books of the probably Black Byzantine author Procopius.

Wiki: Procopius of Caesarea (c. 500 – c. 554 AD) was a prominent late antique scholar from Palaestina Prima. Accompanying the Roman general Belisarius in the wars of the Emperor Justinian, he became the principal Byzantine historian of the 6th century, writing the Wars (or Histories), the Buildings of Justinian and the now-celebrated (and infamous) Secret History. He is commonly held to be the last major historian of the ancient Western world.

600 years later, the Byzantine Emperors were Black, so I assume that Justinium was also Black!

From the wording, the writer was clearly NOT White, nor Black, but rather the normal BROWN of Black people.
