I have heard lots about Donald Glover esp. with his hit "Atlanta" on cable I believe. He seems to be extremely talented brother, but his video This Is America is blowing up the media circuits all around, & every one is trying to dissect this video & it's real meaning, so I included this interview on The News Hour with a brother Tre Johnson who writes for Rolling Stone.

It doesn't. It's superficial. Something those actually involved with Struggle do not concern ourselves about. Fanon wrote extensively about the psyche of an Afrikan male with a white female mate. Yet he married Bekka. Her words: "cf: Some critics say there is a fundamental contradiction between Fanon’s works, what he stood for, and the fact that he married a white French woman. How do you answer these critics? J.Fanon: It is my opinion, and I believe that it was also his — otherwise he would not have contracted nor remained in this interracial marriage — that there was no contradiction. In his works, he states clearly that it is through a revolutionary process that we can understand and resolve racial problems. Otherwise, we find ourselves in dead-end situations that are impossible to resolve — the sort that we can never put to rest. For example, critics can reproach a black American for marrying an Arab woman because her skin is lighter than his is and so on, and so on. In a certain phase of the struggle, such a position can have for a time a positive and beneficially unifying effect. However, it remains a limitation. We are not going to limit each other to race! Otherwise, where is the revolution?" - - - - - Without these two phonies, Diop & Fanon, where would the Struggle for the liberation of the Afrkan mind be? Not to mention the political 'agitation' both were submerged in. Not to be took for the trophy white wife hunters of the consciousless negro.
And this compromise the brother how?? while some out marriages can, some don't, remember all skin folk ain't kin folk. Precisely. And why NIYAHBINGHI means 'Away with' all, white and black, downpressors!

"while some out marriages can, some don't"....................whatever...... Whatever is a lazy response, it is easy to lump and dump rather than figure out who is with you and yours vs who ain't, marrying Oromarosa or Stacy Dash may look good to the eyes and felt safe until you find out what they are about, again the white trophy wife/girlfriend is a real fetish among some and is good for no one. But as was said not always the case, and from this we get into policing which leads to mission creep of being mad at marrying or dating women with accents and foreign sounding names even when they are of the African diaspora, I have seen it happen, folks get into all kinds of objections over hair type to shade as to who is or isn't black enough or should even be considered so. Writing off folks have something to say just because !! ,is counter productive, look past what the eyes can see and then take note.
