Interesting ! Well Diop I feel was trying to connect ancient Egyptian language to Africa,I remember it was said to be a lost language;so i get what he was trying to do also as a speaker of Wolof & an African; I felt he might have had some basis for his theory ;all in all the short coming of his theory or research does not negate his revolutionary impact of his research, & importance it had at the time. I understand what the bothers are trying to do is augment t & rectify his research for today.

He briefly mentioned Puular, Bambara and Nuer, very briefly. Yes we give credit to his legacy as a pioneer in african history and scholarship. I thank you for the feedback
