i think britain power is greatly exaggerated the people in there today dont seem to be type of people ruling world

By the 1600's they certainly were growing in power, which is why they would have had diplomatic relations with many nations. They were growing in their trading contacts so it should not be surprising that they had contacts with Morocco at that time.
