I have a history outlook question for people of age that can explain something for me, since I wasn't alive during those times.
but from the period of Dr King's death in 1968- to- present day 2015, what has happen historically during that time period that has convinced many black Americans, and many white Americans that racism isn't an issue anymore and that we post racial.
with stories of cops and armed whites killing unarmed blacks and getting away with it, I notice a lot now that it's black people saying these killings have nothing to do with race.
anybody remember that black juror from the Micheal Dunn case in Florida that did an interview?
but what caused this illusion between that time period. Doesn't seem like that long of a time gap.

Doesn't seem like that long of a time gap. Simple the gains made by some high profile Blacks in Education, politics, sports, military and industry plus a growth in the overall African American middle class since that time.
