Regal Cinema Exposed Sabotaging Birth Of A Nation By Lying That A Empty Theater Was Sold Out
If you ever wonder why Birth Of A Nation appears to be doing less than stellar , there are reasons out side the movie it self even before it opened, TTB bought back to life a rape charge case against Nate Parker a charge in which he was found not guilty to put a damper on the movie, then we have the above in what looked like further active sabotage by the theaters showing the film and finally we have a group of sisters on line talking down the movie because Nate Parker is married to a white woman, and they felt white women were shown as being less guilty of oppression than their husbands. In another thread I have said I was not interested in yet another slave narrative and have yet to view it as it has not to my knowledge opened in Japan now I am interested and will find away to view it and support the brother. If any of you guys saw the film please give us a review pro and con.

I ran across this review of" Birth Of A Nation" with Leslie Alexander, the host Jared Ball & their break down of " Birth Of A Nation". I have read other reviews that somewhat echo's what is being discussed here. A friend who is Ero- America saw the film & he really liked it, My friend likes to immerse him self in Black culture even went to a HBC in the 70's so he could be around black folks; so I'll just take what he said about the film with a grain of salt unti I see it myself when It comes out on DVD. Now for many, the film, just by being made..... is good enough for them. also this is not about the film being sabotaged by the powers that be , but this review is about the historical accuracy & other points that the film makes or not makes.
