Djokeser (not kel) , your reasoning is rather nonsensical. If all you can present in reply is that the front cover
picture is not a good one, it only shows how you are avoiding the hard data that debunks your denials.
Tellingly, your only other "rebuttal" source is a video that deals with the cultural revolution.
But this rather diversionary reasoning fails. The deaths in question occurred BEFORE the cultural revolution,
during the Great Leap Forward. You apparently do not understand the difference between the 2 periods.
Here is the comparison:
Dikötter, Frank. Mao's Great Famine: The History of
China's Most Devastating Catastrophe, 1958–62 Here is the period your video covers..
The Unknown Cultural Revolution Dongping Han talked about his book The Unknown Cultural Revolution: Life and Change in a Chinese Village (Monthly Review Press; December 1, 2008).
In his book Mr. Han argues that China’s cultural revolution (1966-1976)lol.. two different things and dates. You seem confused between the periods,
not having a grasp of the basic history or data.
You then say:
" because murder requires intent on the part of the 'murderer'. You can't seriously maintain that starvation was intended. It was the result of bad planning." But starvation does not have to be "intended" to claim murder when in fact Mao was
told time and time again that his policies were causing mass deaths and he deliberately
refused to stop those policies as Dikötter's prize-winning history makes clear. In ordinary
courts a rapist who rapes and kills a pregnant woman is usually charged with the murder not
only of the woman but her unborn child as well even though said rapist did not "intend" to
kill the child as well. It is not merely "bad planning'.. lol
Using your "bad planning" approach we should not charge the masterminds of the Middle Passage
with any atrocity, because after all, they did not "intend" that the 1-2 million black souls
who perished in the Atlantic die.. No sirreee.. After all they wanted those blacks to live
so they could be sold at a profit. But hey, "bad planning' happens.. So solly, black people.. lol
you then say:
Your claim that Mao was a monster who 'killed' his people for laughs, should explain how Dr. Tu Youyou, winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize discovered artemisinin inspired by Mao's policies during the Cultural Revolution. Dude I am surprised by your weak reasoning and logic. Think man, think! Or at
least of you are doing diversions
try to be more realistic..
1) Even if the medical discovery was made in the death period, this does not excuse
the atrocities committed. Its like saying that since Europeans made several scientific
advances during the age of slavery we should not condemn what they did to black folk.
Numerous medical advances were made during the slave era, smallpox vaccination, anesthetics,
stethoscopes, blood transfusions etc etc, but hey, that should about cover for all those
dead black folk! SO solly, black people.. lol
2) The CHinese scientist in question made her discovery AFTER the Cultural revolution
period had largely passed, in 1972, when scientists had more freedom in their work.
Indeed Mao officially declared the Cultural Revolution to have ended in 1969. In fact
per her own writing Tu says she was influenced by a traditional Chinese herbal medicine
source, The Handbook of Prescriptions for Emergency Treatments, written in 340 by Ge Hong.
You notion that the discovery was "inspired" by the vast Upheaval is rather dubious and
contradicted by the scientist herself, again showing you do not have a basic grasp of the facts.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tu_Youyou3) You are confusing the GReat Leap Forward period with the Cultural Revolution period
that came AFTER showing that you do not grasp the basic history in question.
