I recently made a post concerning literature but I decided to dedicate this post solely to George Orwell's 1984. In my opinion this was a spine chilling exciting novel that is shockingly somewhat accurate in his depictions of a not so distant future. So if anyone else has read the book please join in on the conversation but if not lend me your ear anyway. But in the mean time I'll be posting some snapshots I took of some interesting excerpts also coupled with somethings the Honorable Marcus Garvey has stated himself that ring true to this day that haunted my thoughts for quite sometime.

Thank you for posting about George Orwell 1984. I've never read his book or seen the film that came out I believe about 1984. But since his novel is a kind of house hold word esp. among progressives,& of late been talked about because the election of the" Orange Virus" Trump , more & more people are beginning to re-read or read for the 1st time his book or to view the film esp. among those that might have been too young to have heard about him or his book book. Thank you for stepping forward ! It makes me feel not so alone here on ESR !

Well I personally picked up the book because I was curious to learn more about the infamous Orwellian prophecy and I recall it was either Middle School or High School it was briefly mentioned. Although that is interesting that people are beginning to pick the book back up but I find it rather laughable that Trump has caused this much hysteria amongst the American people because, I'm not offended by his presence within the White House or anything he says whatsoever I find him to be of interesting character.
