Besides African studies, I dabble in music production. Here is one of my tracks from an upcoming EP titled Digi-Phunk. It is for those into soul-hop, experimental, instrumental tracks.

I am feel it but after the intro could you drop the drum and base a little and bring up more of the wind instruments..let the wind instruments.. dominate instead of the Drum/Base..btw I am not a musician just my personal vibes...but I do/did produce events..also if you could get someone to do some poetry reading or live painting with that music...that would be wicked..even live body painting would do..

Live body painting?? Anansi, you naughty boy I like the beat as well, I could definitely spit some poetry over the sound, except I would need more bass. Guess it depends on what type of vibe you're feeling at the moment. But it's definitely funky.

Oh yeah !!I love the female form..some psychedelic colors on a stage with black lights the human form as a canvas some Digi Phunk playing in the back ground a hidden voice reading some poetry..candle lights the thick scented kind different colors at every table no other lighting except for black lights on stage for decor at a small venue no more than 100 seats surrounding the stage in a circle..oh yeah I can see now ;D
