"Just as another example about questioning what we were taught as kids in our schools. Modern genetic research has also shown that the Islamic peoples of the Iberia was expelled(late 1400’s)! I should correct that to say they were never expelled to North African regions as what the “history books” teaches us. Sources cited in my thread." please explain

"So simple logic dictates if there is no genetic material….where did they go? Were the Romans and Greeks and AEians very similar genetically?" Well the history of most invasions is that foreign forces/army enter and either establish themselves as a new elite or they place puppet administrations at the top. So, in reality the population numbers of the invasion force is quite small compared to the country population. think US Army entering Iraq ............ 1000 yrs from now, when excavation and dna testing is done, you will not find any evidence of US people DNA. For Rome and Greece - its the same thing: They entered Egypt with a force of maybe in the 10s of thousands: 10,000 maybe even less 5000 plus auxiliary forces of disgruntled natives who can no longer tolerate the existing native regime...... If this is the case, then you will not find DNA evidence of the Romans and Greeks: they numbered a tiny population who took up positions in the royal court - and then a relatively small military force.

Correct................ You can take it even further...... statistically speaking it is fair to say that moderns Egyptians are NOT nor where ancient Egyptians admixed with European Romans or Greeks. the numbers of mixes would have been relatively tiny compared to the entire population. the Roman and Greeks who mixed in would have been a very small amount of rotating military personnel and royal/court personnel ....maybe some traders here and there. The US has military bases all over the world, does the occasional marriage between a US soldier and a local change the genetic complexion of the native country Hardly.....infinitessimal. Typically in conquest scenarios, the flow of peoples moves in reverse. From the conquered regions to the imperial center. So, there were probably more Egyptians who moved to Rome for economic and cultural reasons than vice versa. for example: more folks of Indian extraction moved to Britain than Britons moving to India. (again, what would have been the genetic effects of British conquest of India ?? statistically 0%.
