By now most have heard of the murder of the Saudi journalist by the Saudi Prince in the Turkish consulate.
I find the issue interesting due to the fact that Turkey has been leaking everything about the killing. Clearly they are taking the murder as an opportunity to sully the Saudi image. Erdogan of Turkey yearns to revive the Ottoman Empire and the Saudis claim to be protectors of Mecca and the holy areas. So this is a longstanding conflict for primacy in the Muslim World...especially Sunni.
What is interesting here is that the Saudis and even the journalist Khashoggi are of Turkic themselves.................they are white. So this boils down to Arabicized Turks of Saudi versus the Ottoman Turks. Climate in Arabia alone tell u that pale white people CANNOT be indigenous to the area....hence the need to cover themselves head to toe in flowing garbs to protect from the sun and ultra violet rays.
To deflect from the bad press of the killing, the Saudis have decided to throw black Saudi General al Assidri under the bus
