Gave out links in other threads (boss & project). Who follows linx? So decided to post the whole megilla. Gave link to yte 1619 too (birth of US democracy). Been eclipsed by blk 1619. Coincident? Cover? Nothing wrong with Anglo 1619, neither the blk or yte one. But through African Eyes on 'American' shores there's a plethora of dates pending which set of Euro colonizers, Sephardi settlers, and Indigenous inhabitants are the enslavers. 1619 is a United States law, bills by Senate and House of Representatives. Funded by the taxes of every working American, it's focus is (justifiably) strictly Anglo-American. Green Card holding tax payers probably don't give a care, but yes, passing nods should be in there. Because, sure as sugarcane, enslaved Africans before and after 1776 became part of today's ADOS Black Americans population no matter if originally on Spanish, French, Native or whoever's territory it used to be before incorporated by purchase or conquest into the Anglo USA. Conscious folk want to be aware of the kaleidoscopic nature of our intricate history outside any single simplistic pigeon hole. |

THe only thing I remember re America is that they founded Manhattan in 1624, and that they were big slave traders. I wonder if Trump or his allies will kill or block the bill Takuri references. |

Oh no no. It's a done deal. Trump done already signed it into law as posted earlier elsewhere. But follow the $$$ Trail. Who in your network or neighborhood got any of it?
