I just found this YouTube video earlier today, which criticizes Jared Diamond’s influential and yet infamous book “Guns Germs and Steel”. The video in my opinion does a great job in summing up all the key details that are commonly associated with Diamond’s theory about the African continent and using African history to contradict some of his beliefs. With all do respect, Diamond himself doesn’t necessarily condone, from what I know, any of the hardcore pseudo historians and their racist beliefs, but sadly his theory is used by these people to undermine Africa’s place in history and uphold Western and Eastern supremacy. Someone should write a book on the truth and call it:
"Guns, Guns, and Guns".
why ?
Africans and others developed and used steel WAAAAY before Euros.
Africans have higher immunity to diseases due to higher genetic diversity and melanin.
So that leaves "GUNS" and the desire or rather compulsion to use them and associated firearms in genociding others who are different in a quest for superiority.
maybe we can call it "Guns, Guns, and Genocide"

It’s interesting that you say that because many people who subscribe to this theory usually would point out Malaria as being one of the causes of Africa’s lack of progression, while they continually ignore Eurasian diseases like Smallpox, Measles, Influenza, Mumps, and Syphilis. Apparently these diseases didn’t hold Eurasians back, but Africans were held back by Malaria? Funny how that works.

What lack of progression? Social the were far more advanced and achieved similar structures,just because they weren't crazy about conquering others like the Europeans doesn't reflect in them being less intelligent or incapable of dealing with social problems or engineering societies. African people problem today is European concept working against their African reality,why do you think most African count have crap leaders?
