He says Corona era will be a wake-up call for Black America, of which too many
are not being serious, and are not applying sound personal financial or biz
management, etc etc. He says time to end the BS Hip hop conspiracy mentality etc etc.
He says stimulus package ties into his ADOS reparations spiel in that cash payments are
always reasonable. I would say, sure, checks can always be mailed in a crisis, but the Corona era
may actually give reparation claims even WORSE prospects. White people will be too busy
hustling to protect their own and really don't give a damn about black folk, over and
above general corona relief. If whites were indifferent or hostile to ADOS reparations
before corona, it seems doubtful that they will be so after COrona. If anything public
funds will be tighter.
An argument can be made that since poorer communities will suffer more from Corona, that
special efforts should be made to aid said communities. Yes indeed, but it is doubtful
if this will translate into ADOS reparations, versus just more special appropriations
for the poorer areas of ALL groups.
ANd the standard historical pattern may still apply. Whenever there is crisis/emergency,
white people usually make sure they are at the front of the line before anyone else.
During the Great Depression this was the pattern, and has been so for most of US history.
During the Great Depression blacks were even pushed out of so-called "negro jobs" as
desperate whites maximized every advantage. Even without a crisis its the same pattern.
Right wing white propaganda attempts to hide this reality with a barrage of disinformation and
falsehood but the pattern is there. Affirmative action? Whites made sure they are the major
beneficiaries- white women. Welfare? Whites make sure they get the most gains even though
they have much more wealth and income than blacks. States with higher white representation
get higher welfare payments per capita than states with heavier minority populations.
And so it goes..
