Is it possible for you to caption each image identifying the subject's ethnicity and/or region?

Pictures of the Upper Egyptian Coptic community: The term 'Copt' used to derive from the Upper Egyptians who called the Lower Egyptians, "sons of Ptah." The Greeks also called Lower Egypt, "the house of Ptah." When Christianity arrived, many Egyptians converted. Anyone in Lower Egypt was still a Copt. However when Islam came through, at first all Lower Egyptians regardless of whether Muslim or Christian were Copts. The term than changed to any Christian was a Copt. Many Copts fled south however most are native Upper Egyptians as you can tell. The Nubians protected Christianity and took in the Coptic refugees however the Nubian Christian kingdom eventually fell after putting up a heroic struggle against the Arab Muslims. Just a little history tid bit.

Thanks for that History lesson. It is really too bad that the Nubians did not continue as Christians. Wonder how Africa would of been like if the Nubians Were still Christians. One thing that we would know is probably the self hate would of had less of an impact.
Peace
