An interesting vid from HomeTeam History,He touched on something I've never heard of and need to research,that of the production of Iron in Africa, especially southern Africa during the stone age, I knew Africans skipped the bronze age ,usually regarded as the intermediary step before producing Iron, we also knew of Very early Iron producing centers in Garbo Nigeria and Camaroon,these two sites were among the first in the world known to produce Iron, but the information in this vid suggest an even longer deep time Iron production going back to the middle stone age, this is New to me anyone got any more to add.

Off top my head Doc Ben wrote about hematite(?) iron ore mining for 'rouge' somewhere in the southeast, Eswatini(?), in the Pleistocene
