Inspired by Wally's post at over at E/SBlack Madonna” is a documentary series spanning centuries, continent, cultures and religions. This ‘road movie,’ is a Quest through a landscape of ‘heresy’ to explore the enigmatic icon of the black virgin and her role as a crossroads figure. Representing a spiritual matrix predating Christianity, she threatened the very formation of the early Church, and though suppressed, has shaped Western culture and consciousness. The documentary explores the ‘heretical’ traditions of the West, what they are, where they came from, the nature of the Sacred Union, and the crucial roles women held as guardians of lands from the ancient Levant, Egypt and Mecca, to Babylon. www.black-madonna.org/Go here for a view of the trailer

7:20 on the 3rd video Asaru's penis on the church, I really did not pay much attention to church steeples before and frankly it was never explained to me before,it is just sitting there hiding in plain sight yet, there are folks who would deny Abrahamic religious connection to Kemitic spiritual science. The Pagan Origins of the Church Steeple It was not until the rise of the Roman Catholic Church that religious philosophies would once again blend in the right mixture to produce “pointy tops” to crown buildings of worship.[3] Neoplatonic philosophy and aesthetics dictated the need for architecture which inspired a sense of awe and worship. Religious architecture had always followed the lead of secular culture, as illustrated by Constantine’s basilicas, which were built to imitate the courthouses of his day. But toward the end of the Byzantine period of architecture, the Popes which followed seemed to draw inspiration from the obelisks of ancient Egypt.[4] As religious architecture began to enter the Romanesque period, points began to appear on the surfaces and corners of every cathedral built in the Holy Roman Empire. This trend would reach its pinnacle in the days of Gothic architecture epitomized by Abbot Suger’s construction of Saint Denis (around 1130-1140, see image 5). Perhaps drawing inspiration from the grandiose statues and towers of ancient Egypt, Gothic architecture sought to express divine direction through exaggerated heights and imposing solidity with the building materials selected. At this time cathedrals typically displayed 100 or more points of different types, some crowned with crosses, others simply sticking upward with bare stone or iron. Alongside this development, feudal society had grown to revolve around religion such that the cathedrals and abbeys had begun to function as the hub of towns and villages everywhere in Europe. It became customary in Italy to build towers by the entrance of the churches which would house bells for calling the local inhabitants to worship.[5] These bell towers, named “campaniles,”[6] served the further purposes of chiming the hours throughout the week and of warning citizens of coming danger. In the colder climates of Northern Europe, builders attached the bell towers to the west entrance of the churches, perhaps for convenience. These came to be called “west work” (German: westwerk) towers and had two towers on either side for decorative purposes (see images 7 and 8). As with everything else during the Romanesque and Gothic periods, these grew to be more elaborate as time went on, showcasing a proliferation of points and crosses on every surface. During this time period, the most imposing spires would appear atop these west work towers and also at the crown of “cupolas,” which were originally domed openings at the center of cruciform (cross-shaped) cathedrals. While some of these cupolas housed bells, others merely served to provide a decorative opening in the middle of the cathedral for skylight and ventilation. These two spire locations together constitute the European origin of the modern “steeple.” thedissidentblog.wordpress.com/2008/05/19/the-origin-of-the-church-steeple-new-motivational-poster/

How eactly is the Church Spire which came directly from Gothic Spires a Egyptian Obilisk?? Do you even know the history of Gothic Architecture and how it evolved into the Church Spire on English Churches? The Spires on Gothic Cathedrals were made to inspire a light building with emphasis on the vertical to lead people to the heavens. Had nothing to do with Egypt. Also of course Church arch. evolved from pagan cultures...DUH. Wait let me guess you expect God to come down and give Arch. Blueprints from heaven?? Actually we did cover this topic. The Spire comes from the Gothic Cathedral. How can you get an obilisk from that?? Again the Gothic Cathedrals were made to be light airy structures(as opposed to the Heavy Romanesque and Pagan structures) and also to inspire the worshippers to the heavens. When you go to a Gothic Cathedral your first impulse it to look up and say WOW its like it floating. Imagine during a time when most buildings in Northern Europe and France(Where the Gothic style was created) were straw shacks and heavy Roman and romanesque buildings and castles. The first person to put a Spire on a Church was Gibbs in St. Martin's in the Feilds. Again this is not an obilisk its a Gothic Spire. You want a Obilisk on a (SO CALLED) Abrahamic building.. Look no further than the Mineret...But guess you forgot about that in you apologia??

This no secret, There are Pagan Roman, Greek, Mesopotamian etc. influences as well but I guess you forgot that too huh.. As far as you link it says "Pagan Origins of the Church Steeple" like its some big Mystery, I mean they might as well say Pagan origins of Christian arch., as in the Basillica...like I said who cares?? Should God come down from Heaven and give out blueprints, will that satisfy you New Agers?? Also you said "Abrahamic Religions" but I have YET to see you provid anything on Islam and Judaism, seems your Focus is Christianity, Its common knowledge that the Miniret developed from the "Ausars Dick" as you say but not one mention of it by you. Its clear that the Muslim style of Worship is from Egypt as well as the White Linen clothes, Yet nothing from you. Its clear the Kabballa is influenced heavy from Egypt, yet no Mention by you, The Star of David comes from Egyptian Mystisym yet no Mention from you. As I said an apologist.

Where did I say they did not worship Egyptian Gods, the fact of the matter is Architecture developed thousands of years before a religion called Christianity came upon the scene. Christ dates to the 1st century A.D, by this time people were able to Stone Mason great buildings. The fact is that the Romans converted they turned so called Pagan structures into Sacred structures. Now Im not saying some did not go over board..Like the Petra Cathedra or the Baldachinno etc. But the fact is that the people did not see Gothic Arch. as Egyptian. It rather different than Egyptian if you ask me and it should give credit to where credit is due. As far as your little knowledge on Egyptian influence on Islam, if that is the case stop beating around the bush and label this thread Pagan Egyptian influences on Christianity(Be a Real Arab Apologist, stop trying to smoke screen you Apologetics), stop pretending you are not being selective by saying "Abrahamic Faiths." Also why should I post the info on Islam, it easy to find in Islamic history and Islamic Arch. but its O.K becuase Islam is a Peaceful Black Man's religion while Christianity is European.. Also it was not until Pagans began to convert to Christianity that Christians persecuted Pagans. The 1st-3rd century Church was Tormented, Fed to Lions, and persecuted for their beliefs BY PAGANS. But I guess you forgot that too huh, Christianity is against Shedding innocent blood, hence the absolute persecution and little revolt in the Early Church. The Muslims however had no problem killing the Infidels but Islam is a Black Man's religion (The Problem is you New Agers only have a problem with christianity and Christ, you have no problem with Islam, they can behead as many infidels as they want but let a Christian do something and you New Agers will shout, hoop and holler. In truth you New Agers want to force Christians to worship Egyptians Gods, and Admit that Jesus never existed or He is Horus...this is your Goal so stop smoke screening...You don't care about Islam becuase in your eyes Islam is a legit relgion while Christanity is a Evil European one that stole from Egypt...So please stop B.Sing I know you New Age Islam Arab Apologists like a Fly on Dooky, you cant fool anyone, certainly not me..so Come out with your Apologetics stop Smoke Screening.) Like I said every Religious building came from Pagan influences be it a Mosque, Church, Temple..etc. The Difference is that the Bible says God dwells within us not Temples made with hands.

In their world view, God has repeatedly revealed himself through the ages through prophets who taught about the one true God. Therefore, according to many muslims Akhnaten was a Muslim and a prohet because he preached the existence of only one God. In their view the so called vestiges would actually be remnants of the true worship before it was corrupted, which is why God was repeatedlysending prophets to clarify things. They simply see Mohamed as being the end of a very long line of prophets.

They simply see Mohamed as being the end of a very long line of prophets. This is a bunch of madness. Akenaton Clearly Worshipped Aten, Not Allah, which was a Disk with Sun Rays coming out. If Muslims say that Akenaton was a Prophet becuase he said their is one God(Not Allah but Aten, which was Clearly the SUN) then Islam is Pagan in origin. The Muslims destroyed all unbelievers and Pagan Idols(Which would include depictions of Aten and Statues of Akenaton that Egyptians would worship if he was alive during this time.) Except for the Ka-abba Stone(an Idol.) If Islam is so Generous and accepting of Paganism why did they kill the "Unbelievers"?? Why Did Egyptians convert if akenaton was a Prophet?? Why did they deface the Pyramids, Was Aten not Allah according to your logic. Why in the Koran did Allah destroy Pharoah was Pharoah not worshipping Aten?? Also, its funny how is Justified that Islamic Paganism is "ISLAMIC" but anything dealing with Christ that is even remotley Pagan is "Egyptian" etc. I have been saying for a long time that Stories and Laws that compare to stuff found in the Bible makes sense as we all came from Adam and All Nations at one point knew the Laws of God and the stories...For example Commandments like Thou shall not kill, or bear false witness..Found on the Neg. Confessions would make sense that non Hebrews have this law like the Hammurabi Code. But yet when we do it its THEFT or STEALING..When Muslims or others do it..its ISLAMIC despite the fact that there was no religion upon the Earth called Islam prior to Muhammedn Ibn Abdualla of arabia in the 6th century....So how can it be Islamic...?? Also Bibllical Flood would make sense to be found in Egypt and Mesopotamia if the Flood affect the World...that other Nations have it in their Culture is common sense, but when its from the Bible all yall can say is..."THEY STOLE IT FROM EGYPT" ...."JESUS IS HORUS" Blah, Blah. I doubt a sane Muslim would say Akenaton was a Prophet. The Bhuddists believe in One God Bhudda, was Bhudda a Prophet...This did nothing to save them from blowing Bhudda up..

As a matter of fact go to Sudan or Arabia and set up a Temple with Aten images in it and tell Muslims that is the origin of Allah and Islam comes from Egypt, Im sure they will accept it as Truth and Akenaton as a Prophet...Post some pics of the results.. I'm relating what many Muslims in Egypt, some of them Azhar students have communicated to me. At no point did I say they believe ISlam originated in Egypt. I just pointed out a world view that Islam is not seen as something new to them. Islam is a way of life based on the recognition of and submission to the one God. Therefore, to them all the prophets of the Old Testament were Muslims and so was anyone who preached the submission to the one God. Its just that they see Prophet Mohamed and the revelation of the Koran as the perfection of the religion. So yes, there are many Muslims who do regard Akhnaton as a prophet because he did preach the belief that there was only one God, but do they believe that it was the perfection of faith, no. They regard it as an archaic precusor to what would come later. In the Koran it says that God sent prophets to the entire world, but Mohamed was sent to the Arabs so that they too could have a prohet. Therefore, it would not come as a shock to many Muslims to find aspects of Islam in Ancient Egypt. It is still pointed out to me every time I go there that Muslims still finish their prayers by sayinf Ameen = Amen = the supreme God. In their view all the world worshiped the true God but over time the religions became corrupted. This is how many of them feel about the Anceint Egyptian religion. The fact is that all three religions have aspects that are paralleled in Anceint Egyptian practices. How one interprits the meaning of these facts depends on their world view. I know many Christians who upon going to Egypt and visiting the temples freak the heel out because of all the similarities they see, they don't know how to reconcile it with their world view. For Muslims that I have met, they don't struggle with these things, but see it as proof that God's laws were always here, but as the scriptures explain, the message over time always became corrupted and that is why God had to send new prophets. Christianity in their view is the perfect example. They believe that Jesus was a prophet who came to reform the distortions of the faith being practiced by the Jews of his time. They belioeve he received his revelations from God like all prophets, yet after his death, his message became distorted, corrupted, mistranslated and adulterated by incorrect teachings and practices, such as making statues and images of the saints and prophets and lastly the idea that Jesus was not just a prophet but actually God in the flesh. In their view, the Koran and the prophet Mohamed were sent down to purify the worship of the one true God and to make things clear once and for all.
