Black Genesis 3

I think a bit of caution is warranted with Bauval, although he is clearly on the right track. In video #3, Bauval claims that bones of "a Mediterranean Race" were found at Nabta Playa, without giving any details. Howeve there is no such thing biologically as a "Mediterranean race". The peoples of the Sahara are diverse indigenous Africans with a variety of features without needing any "Mediterranean race" to explain why. I think Bauval has some weaknesses in his theory based on the above claims and terminology. He seems to buy into the old formulations like "black" African, (are there also "non-black" Africans native to the Sahara?) perhaps unconsciously invoking the hoary "true negro" stereotypical model.

You make a good point about Bauval. Tryng to single out some bones as Medit is strange but what we have to understand is that it may take awhile for the ignorance to vanish when it comes to Africa. Europeans are making strides but sometimes they fall back into their safety zone of "Other Africans" when it's all "Black Africans".
