Are 1000's of black lives worth less than the two Americans of the Berlin disco bombing or other incidents where the victims' countries of origin took undiscerning military vendetta revenge killing innocents? Libya's no place aberant. It could happen to you where you live tomorrow. Send email to Editorial Page of every periodocal you read or whose stories you follow on the internet demanding NTC personell be brought up on war crimes and crimes against humanity for the indiscriminate lynch murders of blacks whether Libyan or from elsewhere in Africa. Let your government know that NATO is a criminal organization that not only did not intervene to safeguard citizens and foreign nationals in Libya based on colour of skin but aided and abetted in their unlawful murder. This is why the USA did not send their largely black Army instead only used a handful of special operative forces.

All press is biased but we hear nothing from the "loyalist" point of view. I just found this libyanfreepress.wordpress.com/tag/bani-walid/I suggest using a cache instead of directly going to the Libyan Free Press Jamahiriya News website itself to read Libya’s sieged cities: see how to bomb of questions the Nato press office! and other articles. Question bombing is an intelligence tactic Oh hell, here it is: If you watch sometimes the Nato press briefings you will see that the international press only asks for stupid/easy/nondisturbing questions.
BUT Nato must know that when/if they bomb the sieged cities, some media of the world know that they are not doing it to protect civilians, but they are helping (illegally) the Abdel Jalil forces.
I already did an interview to the Nato command where they answered non-sense (see included but it is in Italia).
Please send (as independent journalists) the following questions (please edit my English if you use them!) to Nato’s press office in Brussels
moc@hq.nato.int
and
oup.media@gmail.com.
I think f a lot of press, websites and so, do a question bombing , it can disturb them a (little) bit. Send the questions to the mainstream press.
Marinella Correggia
. URGENT QUESTIONS ON LYBIA FOR THE (here PUT THE MEDIA NAME)
1) why this time Nato is bombing Bani Walid and other sieged cities? (They are sieged by the Abdel Jalil forces; therefore Nato should try to protect the civilians inside from the aggression of Abdel Jalil forces: INDEED, when civilians where inside Misrata and the city was sieged by Libyan army, Nato bombed heavily that army).
2) Is it not that Nato regularly helps Cnt? All the time, the advances of Cnt were made possible by Nato. The so-called “rebels” admitted that without Nato they could have achieved nothing. Regime change so?
3) Is Nato bombing Sebha and Sirte too? Why? What about civilians?
4) Why Nato is not concerned about the lack of basic things inside the sieged cities? Civilians are suffering and trapped insiede; Cnt armed people admitted (to Reuters) that civilians insiede Sebha dont have money and fuel to escape.
5) why Nato is not concerned about protecting civilians from the Cnt as in Tripoli and elsewhere a lot of African migrants, and Black libyan are killed and harassed…
6) why the Cnt Buhajar (in charge of the man-hunt…) said that Nato bombed Birak because Qafadi was there? it means that Nato participates to the man-hunt and rtegime change
7) Nato countries sent their men on the field to help Cnt. Do you coordinate with them? And what about the 1973 resolution?
8.) are you aware that many lawyers are starting filing nato for war crimes and for 1973 violation (when nato bombs Libyan army without a direct threat to civilians, this is illegal, it is a regime change).

If there was a way to put a human face on tragedy like the families from the various African countries making placards with the pics of the murdered standing out side embassies and media centers demanding justice or just information on their missing loved ones telling their own stories we can get somewhere.

There is no excuse for doing nothing. Write the media, write your government. No good at composition? then you just use Correggia's template posted above. The world already has the faces. YOUTUBE is full of them, even a journalist whose prescence made the racist murders release a few African nationals rather than lynch. Watch how they respect a lone white man. And what's Nigeria's idea of protecting their nationals? is to recognize the murderers as Libya's legitimate government. Woe to the Nigerian black man his rulers heads grow out of their nyash. Here's one from way back in March It can be used to arrest his murderers but authorities already know who did. From February to today there are plenty images of faces, victims and perpetrators as well It's easy to stand aside and do nothing while even Brits try do something. www.facebook.com/pages/British-Civilians-for-Peace-in-Libya/165918890129946?sk=photos

Don't me get wrong me Al-Takruri my suggestion was not to suggest passing the buck to the families everyone should do their part but their individual stories needs to be told a name of a father or something,for rest assured that's what people of Euro decent does they make you get to know the victim's story.

Tell me you're joking. What the Euro people do is plan a military assualt of some kind. Just review recent history to see how the Euro people respond when large numbers of them are killed by some country's militia.
When the USA first did bomb Libya in response to what? I recall no picture posts just the bombing of innocents.
African man has no military might thus he no respect from international community.

African man thus must try the pen, like this in light of UN revisiting Resolution 1973, coming up on Monday next (19SEP2011):
Take just a few easy steps to send e-mails to non-belligerent members on the UN Security Council, calling on them to take a stand against the military intervention and to support and promote a negotiated resolution/peace.
It is clear that the U.S./NATO goal in Libya has nothing to do with protecting civilians and is, in fact, the greatest danger to Libyan civilians today. Libya has the largest oil reserves in Africa. The objective of U.S./NATO interference is strategic: it consists in achieving regime change and gaining control of the nation’s oil wealth under the disguise of a humanitarian intervention.
Please pass this on to your friends, family and contacts around the world.

Body text:
“PLEASE PUT A STOP TO THE NATO WAR ON LIBYA!” WE APPEAL TO NON-BELLIGERENT MEMBERS OF THE U.N. SECURITY COUNCIL
• to put an end to the misuse of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1973 to influence the internal affairs of Libya through warfare, by revoking it, and
• to press for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Libya, backing the African Union’s central role in this context.
We thank those countries that have tried, and are still trying, to work towards peace.
Our appeal is based on the following:
• the military intervention in Libya undertaken by some NATO members has now gone far beyond the provisions of Security Council Resolution 1973, and is based on hyped-up accounts of defenseless citizens being massacred by their government, while the truth is that, in Libya, there is an on-going and intense internal armed conflict;
• we are aware of the economic and geo-strategic interests that lie behind the war in Libya and, in particular, behind NATO support of one of the two armed factions;
• NATO military intervention in Libya has killed (and is continuing to kill) countless civilians, as well as harming and endangering the civilian population, including migrants and refugees, in various other ways;
• the belief, at this stage, that only non-belligerent countries — and particularly those with U.N. Security Council voting rights — can successfully bring a peaceful end to the conflict through negotiations and by implementing the opening paragraph of UNSC Resolution 1973, which calls for an immediate ceasefire.

When the UN revisits Resolution 1973 on Monday 19SEP2011 they will either rescind or extend NATO's "mission to protect the citizens of Libya."
Of course all concerned parties know NATO simply backing overthrow of of Libyan government but if the number of emails is high it may influence UNSC to rescind NATO's misuse of 1973.
At least sending an email to your media, your government, and the UN will beat impotent hand wringing and sidelining.
And I mean "your" in the plural not singling out Anansi even though ES crew not noted for political activism.
There will be no Pan-African special armed forces rescuing their nationals from Libya as Israel did in Entebbe. This email will be our (weak) default letting then know we are not blind nor stupid nor resigned to abuse even if we are otherwise powerless.
