Given by TruthAndRight over at E/S ,the whole monarchy thing never made sense to me in the first place remaining in the common wealth may make some economic sense but who knows.

^The Jamaican PM is trying to up her approval with this move. That said, though, this should've been done long ago. And i hope they get rid of that ridiculous requirement of judges wearing that hideous white wig. This would be another step in jamaica growing up and coming into it's own.
The common wealth is just a "social club" so to speak so there is no economic benefit there as membership is not required for any special trade relationship or economic assistance. It's just another international org for countries to strengthen ties among members.

Agreed!! the minute they started talking of vista they should have dropped it that crap, Caricom should have a vista less operation, if they do then correct me. and yes that wig looks stupid on anyone but especially on Black folks..  |

I know they wanted to have visa-less entry or something like that for ppl with degrees or something similar. Idk if they've gone ahead with this yet.
Guyana broke this stupid link with britain long ago so i dont know why it's taking ja and the rest of the WI so long to do it.
