This is a excellent film( Lumumba) by the Haitian film maker Raoul Peck , I saw this film when it first came out & was mesmerized by the film effect ,on me, I went with a friend who walked out of the film just before the film ending because he was upset & reminded of the reality of what happened to Patrice Lumumba. Also the director( Raoul Peck) received an academy award nomination last year for his documentary , the only Black person to have received such an nomination, if I'm correct "I am Not Your Negro" about James Baldwin which is now the highest grossing documentary ever ! I have both films in my DVD collection & highly suggest if you have not seen" I am Not Your Negro," to see it, for me it was the best documentary about race in America in the last half of the 20th century, that I have ever seen, & I've seen a few ! POL Lumumba who is an African, lawyer & professor spreading his wisdom around Africa at this time in our history ; is my inspiration for posting this film, you can check him out in the political & News section here about the speech the president of Ghana.gave.
