Good video. We have seen all these things on ES for years- the trolls: idiotic, deceptive,
hypocritical, hateful. Racist trolls also have been long running undercover games, like so called
"angry negro" or bogus "Afrocentric" or "thug negro" personas, who make various extreme
or stupid claims and statements, that set up fake strawmen to "refute" or rail at, or hate.
He also hit the nail on the head when he says:
"They can simply cop out with a racial expletive."Indeed, and this is part of the racist strategy- avoid honest debate, pump up fake memes, distortion
and strawmen. THis is a fundamental cornerstone of propaganda.
HIs call for more face conversations and also to learn opposing viewpoints is good. It
begins to build bridges for dialog. I don't think that these conversations are enough though.
Common goals, faiths, projects and meeting grounds are also needed. Religion is one such area,
and even conservatives whites and liberal black churchgoers actually may have a lot they can
agree on. There were deep, universal principles and issues involved, cutting across millennia,
and that formed a deep basis for dialog. Even MLK found some support in this area, or at least
more willingness to talk because of that common background. Other "third place" meeting grounds
projects etc might be sports, music etc. The key is something specific, not generalized or strained
"lets talk about racism" formats, which oft play into the hands of "alt" denizens, who constantly
generate effective propaganda by distorting statements and pumping up the bogus "
white guilt"
meme.
Black folk also need to be armed intellectually for defense and counterattack- a point too
many young people are deficient on- hence they become easy meat for the propaganda campaigns
of the "alts." ANd of course, some black people are actually helping their enemies by doing
stupid things. Racists have a fairly low workload these days. If you need propaganda material
on black people being stupid and i'gnant, negroes themselves will provide the material, and
even video tape it, ready for use. Plenty of rope to hang- we are giving it to them. This is
a point Malcolm and Elijah Muhammad talked on time and time again, yet the message too often,
does not seem to have gotten through.. Why keep on helping your enemy?
