Just found out about Greg Tate & Malidoma Some' becoming ancestors..Tate was a Giant in Music( Hip Hop ) & other forms of black music..he wrote for the Village Voice...Now I had heard of this brother but never really knew the depth of his impact until recently..Those of you on this forum & of the Hip Hop generation should know him better than I..but from my reading about his work he was take No Prisoners.. & had a brilliant mind..
I became aware of Malidoma Some' in the 90's along with his wife.Sobonfu Some' at a work shop on African Spirituality ; both from the Dagara ethic group of Burkina Faso, West Africa..he along with is wife laid down a strong spiritual foundation in which I stand on today..They are now both Ancestors..he will be missed
