The Farrell guy is off base.
I won't say they are colonizing. They are not going there killing people, seizing land,
seizing resources and minerals etc etc. Even if they go to invest they are not like the Chinese
extracting massive amounts of resources, sometimes ruining landscapes with ruthless
strip-mining, etc. Black Americans are going to visit, and do some business, and some
are buying up some properties but its small potatoes compared to what other folks are doing.
The Black2Africa guy is more realistic and calls out some of the AA scammers, but I think he overstates
his case. Sure some Black Americans are naive and think they will be welcomed with open arms,
and think Africa is some sort of paradise. But a lot of naive folk have learned an expensive lesson
that no paradise is awaiting. But if Afro-Americans want to do business in Africa they have to
look at the bottom line, just like the Nigerians and Ghanians in the US look at their bottom line.
They don't come to America to give anything away. They come to benefit themselves first and foremost,
just like the Chinese, Koreans, Jews, Indians and white people the foremost beneficiaries of all.
