www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThQN0dY31YU&list=FLZ03B7rtxMU-0GSCS0Th_OQ&index=18&feature=plpp_videoThis past summer I saw the last half of this documentary about a mummy of a Black child in the Libyan desert( Sahara). This so intrigued me that I spent the summer trying to find out more about this documentary & information; that ties into my earlier post about the fall of Gaddafi's & the new information about the Garamantes civilization & peoples. I ended up reading the most interesting book that also ties into this information, titled " Black Genesis" The prehistoric Origins Of Ancient Egypt by Robert Bauval & Thomas Brophy. Robert Bauval is a renegade Egyptologist of the first order ! He is a white guy that gets it right !! Anthony T. Browder helps writes a cover for this book. I can't recommend this outstanding book enough , I feel every one on this forum should have a copy !

www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=KjF9bykMdVwDid anyone on this forum attend the conference back in Sept," Nile Valley Conference" or "Kemetamorhsosos" ? As you see the author of Black Genesis Robert Bauval was at the N.V. C. which should tell you that his book is being taken serious by those in our community. Also Theophile Obenga was also a guest speaker which in fact I'm just finishing his encyclopedic book "African Philosophy : The Pharaonic period : 2780-330" which is breath taking in it depth & scope . I for some time now wanted to get my hands on this book for his books are written in french & I found it hard to come by a good English translation. The N. V. C. this year seemed to be a water shed conference, being held at Moore House. I wished they made more available papers from the conference, for the public! So I guess the only way to read or be in the know is to join.

Anansi,
I hope that you are right, but I have never seen a full lecture from" The Nile Valley Conference" ever on you tube. They have been around for a long time & seem to me to be a close nit group of members only. Which I do understand. I thought maybe Al~Takruri or Mayra Wysinger might be members since they seem to be of the academic bent esp. Al~Takruri
They might not post to You Tube or the like for they are very serious about intellectual property & keeping articles etc. out of the public domain unless you are a member.
it would be great if some of the members were part of this forum to somewhat keep us informed. So I'm just putting it out there to see what happens . Than again I should look into becoming a member myself !
