New video from Dr. Shomarka Keita. I think this is one of the best ones yet as he fleshes out a lot of things. A good listen for those who believe present day Northern Egyptians are the same people that built the kingdom 6,000 yrs ago.

Dr. Shomarka Keita, compacted a whole lots in 55 min; I will have to review this video again to pick up aspects that was unclear to me, for he seemed rushed. By him being one of my all time favorites I understand his basic teachings . I also felt that he should have had time to take questions from the audience which can be informative . I'll have to check out Dr. Chris Ehret video out tomorrow , I have some articles by him but, have never seen him lecture.

Nebsen
There is another video where he did field questions later on in that conference. If i can find it, I will post it.
Anansi I liked Ehret and I loved how he really sought to do away with antiquated thinking such as the whole hamite thing, and calling Batwa by their proper name

Mendeman, I have many of Ketia's You-Tube videos except for the one you shared with us( Thanks) where he doe's take questions from the audience , i think he was at Cambridge in England . The video you posted looked like the audience esp, whites would have had some interesting questions. It always gives me a clue to where they are at, in their thinking !

Ok,
Shomarka Keita talks in this one
He starts around 20 minutes in. IT is VERY VERY important to listen to what he says. Because he talks about the European/Asian slaves that were introduced into Africa that cause people to look different. A lot of people underestimate how many whites were enslaved in Africa. I believe this is what explains the look of some Igbo, Fulani and many other groups that are lighter than their neighbors. I believe slaver of whites in Africa went on MUCH longer than most know and I believe it was our enslaving these whites which led Europeans to turn the gun on us.

Couple of things are striking in that vid #1 I discovered that the term San was a pejorative term and that they actually prefer the term Bushmen over San,#2 that morphologically all modern skulls differ significantly from our ancestors of 15kyrs ago.

Couple of things are striking in that vid #1 I discovered that the term San was a pejorative term and that they actually prefer the term Bushmen over San,#2 that morphologically all modern skulls differ significantly from our ancestors of 15kyrs ago. When you think about it, it makes sense (the skulls differing). I would imagine there has been a LOT of mixing on the continent causing changes. For example, modern bones were generally concentrated in East Africa. While west, central and even southern Africa was inhabited by Batwa people. I would imagine when the people from east Africa pushed in, they must have "absorbed" the batwa, causing a lot of changes. There also had to be a lot of changes due to mixing within groups in the east. Also we know Africans brought in a lot of white slaves, not only to north and east africa but to west and southern africa as well. This would have caused change as well I am sure. As Keita said, we have to understand history as well, in order to make sense of some of this stuff.
