Ok one word Awesome!!! and pretty true to it's comic character, set in Harlem and filmed there too it is edgy and correct, it is also un-apologetically Black with a very heavy Latino presence and not just in caste but in feel and flavor, the music is off the hook a mixture of hiphop and lots of 70ts type influences with a twenty first century twist, keep an eye out for famous Harlemites making cameo appearances, including the man who dressed gangsters and celebrities alike Dapper Dan, Luke Cage is righteous without being self righteous, police violence and corruption with the predictable mistrust by the community is tackled out right, so is the hoodie an ode to Trayvon Martin.
Right series and hero for the right time Try not to binge watch the series like I did.

Great show. But I don't think it's getting a lot of support.

Yes you did, and you called right too, I am loving it, btw some haters out there calling Luke Cage the series not the character too Black, it seems they want more white folks or atleast a white playing an important role in the series, some ppl can't help but want to be the center of attention every time at all times, didn't hear too many complaints from anybody that no Blacks were in Lord Of The Rings, everyone just watched it. Saw a clip on the new Iron fist character I thought he was Asian, if memory didn't fail me, if so they dropped the ball big time because they caste a white dude for that.
Now there is whining about Luke Cage.
At History91 are you kidding Luke Cage was so popular it crashed netflix.
