Its a good video. I would agree with him as to Kush being the greatest overall.
It had the victories,it had the longevity- over a millennia- it had the widest
range of enemies. I could tell he was using some of the online research compiled
by the folk on ES. My 3 Wiki articles called "African Military Systems" plus other info
folk from ES have put together over the years are clearly used and that's what
they are for- providing a "base"- from which others can draw. And that's what its
all about. If these young brothers can draw from this base and expand it in detail
like he is doing, the future of a balanced and accurate African history looks to be
in good hands. This guys looks OK, he is are not just posting simplistic memes, but
actually reading the research detail. I think you yourself have chipped in some
research that some have been drawing on, particularly in some videos you post.
That said he could improve his presentation by having images more related to the voice-over
narration, If he is talking about the Kushites fighting the Romans for example,
show pics of the Romans in battle, the Kushite armies in action etc etc rather than
disconnected images such as tribute bearers in tombs.
He could also extend his video by looking at Kushite chariots and horsemanship.
Many know about the archery of Kush, but the cavalry tradition is not as well known.
I myself did not know of it until a few years ago- I learn something new literally every
month, but maybe the page on Reloaded below could kick start another video. You have posted
some images of the cavalry in action on that page, and thanks to your find I will be subscribing
to their channel.
