Life In New Orleans

Marie Laveau married a Creole man from Sainte-Domingue (now Haiti) named Jacques Paris. He reportedly disappeared and was later reported dead. Upon his disappearance, Laveau began referring to herself as the “Widow Paris.” After the reported death of her husband, Laveau started a relationship with Jean Louis Christophe Duminy de Glapion. Together, they had several children, some of whom were victims of the various yellow fever outbreaks that plagued New Orleans due to the city’s poor drainage system. Although Laveau was a committed mother and wife, much of her priority in caretaking was extended to her spiritual children and the general community.

Laveau became a hairdresser to create economic stability for herself and her family. Through interaction with her black clients who were house servants, she was exposed to personal information about her wealthy white clients, who often sought her counsel. Laveau used this information to give informed counsel to the people who sought advice from her concerning their personal affairs. Many wealthy and politically affluent individuals, both white and black, paid Laveau for personal advice, intervention in some situation, and protection against any evil energy that might have been placed against them.

Vodou In New Orleans
Vodou, as a religious system, is derived from spiritual practices from Dahomey, the historic western African kingdom (located in what is now Benin). Vodou is actually a Fon word that means “spirit” or “deity.” Vodou was transported to the United States during the transatlantic slave trade.

African religion was brought to New Orleans, first by the initial group of enslaved Africans from western Africa. After the revolution in Sainte-Domingue (1791–1804), another wave of African people brought their religion to New Orleans. The Vodou tradition was strengthened and reinforced by the free and enslaved African community of New Orleans. It is important to note that the practice of Vodou in New Orleans is not the purest manifestation of Vodou as it was known in Dahomey. Also, it is not the same religious system that is observed in Haiti.

Sainte-Domingue was isolated, and religious and cultural practices were maintained and sustained. However, in New Orleans Vodouists had to adhere to strict European laws, codes, and oppression associated with enslavement. Vodou was often under scrutiny by public officials and the law. Nevertheless, Vodou held a strong presence in New Orleans throughout the centuries, and Vodou ceremonies and activities took place at various sites around the city.

Vodou in New Orleans consisted of root work and gris-gris or ju-ju. People would seek out “conjurers” or other spiritualists for spiritual intervention or protection in their daily affairs. These favors ranged from those concerning love to political influence. Although most workers used their powers for positive forces, there were some who did not. It was probably the work of this small percentage of people that was sensationalized by people outside of the religion. This aspect of the religion became known as hoodoo and is often the basis for misconceptions that public society has about Vodou.

The Vodou Queen
Said by some to be the granddaughter of a powerful priestess in Sainte-Domingue, Laveau reportedly had a familial background in African spirituality. She was drawn to religion after the death of her mother. Laveau underwent the tutelage of Dr. John Bayou, a well-known Senegalese conjurer (root worker). She did not take long to dominate the culture and society of Vodou in New Orleans. As a queen for several decades, Laveau was mother to many. People sought her advice for marital affairs, domestic disputes, judicial issues, childbearing, finances, health, and good luck. Laveau would in turn counsel her practitioners by supplying them with advice or with protective spiritual objects such as candles, powder, and an assortment of other items mixed together to create a gris-gris.

As queen, Laveau predominately orchestrated rituals at three main sites: her home on St. Ann Street, Congo Square, and Lake Pontchartrain. At her home on St. Ann Street, Laveau would converse with clients who would meet with her regarding any issues they were having. In her backyard, she would also have ceremonies that conjured the spirit of the Great Zombi, the deity Damballah Wedo who would manifest through a snake. The second major ritualistic space, Congo Square, was a public square that was set aside by city officials as a gathering space for both enslaved and free African people. Laveau would gather her followers here on Sundays to dance and worship. No major ceremonies would take place here, but it was a place of spiritual gathering and rejuvenation for Africans who experienced major oppression and hardships both on the plantation and as free citizens. The last place of significance that was presided over by Laveau was Bayou St. John’s, which was located on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain. It was here that major ceremonies took place among the initiated in the religion. Laveau would often be accompanied by her “king” or a second-ranking male officiate. Singing, dancing, drumming, and spirit possession would occur in these gatherings. Curious white people would often sneak into the woods to witness these ceremonies. For sensationalism, they would often report extreme tales of what they witnessed.

Rivals
There were often rivalries over who should rule the Vodou system in New Orleans. Before Laveau took reign, there were two women who preceded her as queen. The first was Sanité Dédé, who ruled for several years before she was usurped by Marie Saloppé, who introduced Laveau to the intricacies of the religion and provided her with her fundamental tutelage.

After taking a prominent stance as Vodou queen, Laveau reigned unchallenged until 1850, when another Creole woman named Rosalie attempted to challenge Laveau’s position. To create an aura of fear and awe, Rosalie placed a huge life-sized wooden doll in her yard that was said to have been imported from Africa. The statue was covered with beads and intricate carvings. When people in the Vodou community began expressing fear and respect for Rosalie because of the doll, Laveau stole the statue. She was taken to court by Rosalie but used her persuasive powers and influence to have the doll permanently removed. There were several other root workers and Vodouists who gathered mild attention during Laveau’s reign.

Survival Of Vodou
During the latter years of her life, Laveau had to move her practices across the Mississippi River to the area of New Orleans known as Algiers. Algiers was the first point of arrival of enslaved African people in New Orleans and also the birthplace of Vodou in New Orleans. After Laveau’s death in 1881, Vodou in New Orleans lost a great deal of its adherents. As more people began assimilating economically and socially, the need to depend on the ancient rites and traditions of the old-time religion decreased. Vodou began taking on new forms, becoming incorporated into other religions.

Laveau is buried in St. Louis Cemetery No. 1. Each year, thousands of visitors flock to her tomb and adorn her plot with spiritual regalia, candles, money, flowers, and assorted personal items.]

Well you may run into trouble with the nationalists because they will point out 2 big
holes in your framework right away. First- a Christ figure is one who is both divine
and human essence, and who does a sacrificial work that brings in salvation for a lost,
sinful humanity. Others have an altogether different model, that of simply an exemplary
human role model whose work or fame may achieves them immortality or divine/semi-divine
status. Bes fits neither framework. Furthermore since BES is a god, and his nature is thus
not human, or he has no human essence. Human essence means actually of that essence, and
permanently retaining than essence, not merely assuming a temporary disguise.


Horus and Set are metaphors for your higher and lower chakras.

CHakras are the Hindu focus points/psychic centers. OK, Fair enough.


Set being the lower chakras, in which Caucasians with no functioning pineal gland are restricted to (hence why they are called devils). Horus represents the higher chakras. That is why when a person reaches that level that they adorned with the halo, ureaus etc.

The pineal framework seems to be based on Hindu concepts and Theosophist leader Madame
Blatvasky identified identified the pineal gland with the Hindu concept of the
third eye, or the Ajna chakra. I don’t get this pineal gland thing though because
all humans have a pineal gland.



In popular culture for example like Dragon Ball Z, much of the mystical truth of this situation is told. The serpent representing the Kundalini energy is summoned once one collects all 7 of the dragon balls, and the 7 dragon balls of course represent the 7 chakras. The person who has obtained the "dragon balls" is essentially able to manifest reality through the aid of the serpent (which is the serpent of the bible).

You are hitting on the metaphorical aspects. OK, fair enough. The kundalini
energy is another Hindu concept, with the kundalini energy awakened through regular
practice of Mantra, Tantra, Yantra, Asanas or Meditation. per Wiki. OK.



To so called "Sphinx" is also a reflection of man rising past his/her lower animalistic nature, which is why the beast/lion's body is given. The head is a human, because that human has mastered his/her lower animalistic self.

The Devil's (you know who) society is in place to allow our people to over indulge in f*ckery that attempts to prevent the inevitable rise in consciousness. Once the Devil rotted our peoples brains during the deprivations of slavery (which some say may have been the ordained punishment that resulted from a sudden drop in universal consciousness) our people have been on a path to obtain that which we've felt deprived of for centuries. Too many of our people chase after the over indulgence of this society as though that is all that there is to this universe.

Not necessarily. The Egyptians considered many of there concepts to be literal realities. THus
many of the pharaohs were quite concerned about the afterlife in various eras, for they held that
it was a time of accountability for what was done in this life. There would be a judgement by
a supreme force, that would render to all according to their deeds. The Egyptian spiritual system
recognized that deeds may spring from thoughts, and also had underlying motives. Thus thoughts,
deeds and motives (a 3-fold structure_ all come under Maat's review. Many a man APPEARS good
OUTWARDLY, but inwardly, thoughts and motives may be evil or mixed. The judgment takes this into account.
Most pharaohs took this seriously and made elaborate preparations. Many tomb walls are filled with
with spells or incantations, and protective measures designed to meet the challenge after one
passed beyond this lifes portal. Hell was not merely a metaphorical thing for them, It was a literal
place of real suffering, not in flesh, since that would be gone on physical death, but in spirit,
and based on the deeds and moral/spiritual character that one was marked by before death.
They also held quite literal ideas about tombs, the location of the soul in relation to them etc etc.

This is different from the Hinduist approach many are using with its impersonal karmic cycles of
indefinite death and rebirth. SOme folk may spend a million lifetimes in one Hindu hell for example
before being eligible for some level of rebirth on the treadmill, each cycle of which might accumulate more
evil than good to be dealt with. In Kemet the settling of accounts was fairly short and final. Maat
issued the final judgement after careful weighing- it was not spun out over possible millions of rebirths
and deaths, where more problems could possibly be acquired to be again added to one's burden and judged with
each cycle. The systems, that of Kemet and that of the Hindus, are distinctly different. Metaphors and broad
formulas may paper over some gaps somewhat but they still remain real.

These pharaohs during a time of higher consciousness were able to manifest reality in ways that most others could not. Those others who could do what the sitting pharaoh could do would often attempt to challenge the pharaoh. The powers of the pharaohs from what I've seen were essentially he could put anybody/anyone into his mind. Meaning if he/she wanted to set you on fire, all that pharaoh had to do was think of you on fire. Like the "Storm" character on X-men (and many of those marvel characters) here powers of changing the weather (illuminated eyes and what not) CAME FROM AFRICAN/EGYPTIAN FOLKLORE OF THE PHARAOH. The power of these ancient Africans white folks who hoard all of the ancient text fro m when they stole it, put the all in cartoons and on TV. The Thunder cats are another one. The "Nagals" or half human half beast (even depicted in West African folklore a century ago) were another power that the pharaoh supposedly had.

OK I see where you are coming from, but given that the pharaohs were political figures-
with all the faults and features of political figures- lying, cheating, oppression of
the masses etc etc, how could they be exemplary figures deserving of godhood or divinity?

They did not all reign at once! They all respectively had that angelic glow, that put them above all others at that time.

OK, this ties in with my last question. Given the deep flaws of many pharaohs, including
the frequent propaganda they put out on their tomb walls claiming this and that, that upon
close examination turn out to be false, how are they worthy of ascending to godhood?
They used their political power to CLAIM certain things, including special rights in the
afterlife, but many of these claims turn out to be mere propaganda or “spin.” For example
one claimed that the crushed the Kushites, (might have been on the Sobenakht vizer era)
but we know now it was the opposite, for the Kushites almost destroyed Egypt- and this
was centuries before the 25th Dynasty. If these pharaohs are doing all this false political
“spin” how can they be said to have the glow of angels?

The "last dragon" where Leroy glows is about this very enlightenment process. This is NOT fake. This is the Devil's greatest yet inevitable fear of the original man. The return of "Christ" consciousnesses. It doesn't mean that only one person can do it either, but some people are more power than others. That will reflect in their respective powers.

Well the San are a very ancient African people with a past foothold in most parts of the continent.
They have a claim to being the “original man” at least partially based on time and partially metaphorically.
So should not they be among the logical candidates for an ascended master of Africa so to speak? In other
words how come they ain't cut in on the action?

When the pharaohs of Kemet are considered, it can be seen that for the most part, or primarily
(despite some exceptions) it is mostly they, the politically powerful, or wealthy or influential,
the celebrities or elites of the day, that attain to the ascended state, not the ordinary man.
He gets a humble grave, while the well-connected “big men” in their huge tombs get the main glory.

How does your framework deal with the matter of elitism? Elitism in this life that carries over
to the next? How is it that a pharaoh lying, cheating etc etc gets to have an angelic glow and
heavenly acclaim, but the poor and downtrodden who may have been more pious get only chump change
or more drudgery on the other side? How would this be a proper result in a moral universe
supposedly based on truth and justice?

^^Hmm, so then seems basically Laveau was an intelligence gatherer and broker, with her finger on
the pulse of the surrounding community. I have no doubt she could ruin reputations if she put the word

Who stated that? Bobby Hemmit is probably the best reference to the metaphysical side of melanin and the Kundalini energy. The lower Chakras (or Set) were while not the ideal nature of most high is in fact essential to achieving divine enlightenment. A person has to acknowledge the lower nature of themselves in order to stomp it out, and a lower nature ("wicked" thoughts) are in every person. How that person handles each situation is a reflection of their level of consciousness. Mastering those lower frequency (Set) urges and minding your higher self (Heru) in a balanced form is the key (Yin and Yang).

No the fact the Twa deities predate any of the later deities seen in Hapi Valley civilization is one that has been stated by several master teachers, and I believe Dr. Ben was one of them. Here is an exert also stating this

But what do you mean by a drop in universal consciousness?

The Devil puts the truth in cartoons. The radiating effects of the all seeing eye is depicted in this children's cartoon at around 22:40. The Emerald Tablets of Thot also mentions the replacement of higher consciousness (Niburu) with a star that essentially isn't shit around 19:40. 

They are speaking on the fall of universal consciousness in man that was apparently the wave that was ridden during the Atlantean stage (from which Nubia and Kemet were satellite colonies) of humanity.

The "Judgement" or "reflection" of what they have done in their life is what the movie "US" (which just came out today) is about....The ugly reflections of themselves that they have in the mirror are the result of their horrible "Americanized" lifestyles. The little girl who is conscious enough at a young age to see the ugliness and fight is essentially the Christ figure in the movie, who tries to save everyone from being destroyed by their lower selves. THE few WHITE PEOPLE in movie WERE DESTROYED ON SITE fyi...no judgement because they are Devils from jump (some people are too slow to realize this, and try to model themselves and their goals in life after Devils).

Most pharaohs took this seriously and made elaborate preparations. Many tomb walls are filled with

Hell is the root chakra Zaharan. If you live life on a lower frequency (through a number of ways) then your spirit will reflect that in your next life. There will be no ascension, but only regression until one gets it right. 

This is different from the Hinduist approach many are using with its impersonal karmic cycles of

indefinite death and rebirth...The systems, that of Kemet and that of the Hindus, are distinctly different.

The Sphinx is a representation of Hindu beliefs based on what we agreed it's true meaning is. The higher and lower self being represented by the Lion's body, and humans head. Think about in Hindu culture if you are living on the lower chakras you can potentially come back as a beast/animal, and the beast/lion represents the lower nature of humans. The higher nature is shown on the top half of the body, where the higher chakras are located. In the end both Kemetic and Hindu beliefs center around the awakening of the third eye or pineal gland, plain and simple.

OK I see where you are coming from, but given that the pharaohs were political figures-

with all the faults and features of political figures- lying, cheating, oppression of 

the masses etc etc, how could they be exemplary figures deserving of godhood or divinity?

Are you really that confused? The higher and lower nature is seen in all humans. It is those who master it there way, who were blessed with the all seeing eye.

With that being said, you know that those hunter gatherer folks do not keep adequate records for other people to analyze to find the answers that you were asking....You asked how would we know if they have reached that stage of consciousness, and I had to say why in the Hell would you even ask me that question knowing the facts that I've just stated about them...Silly arse games I'm not going to entertain.

When the pharaohs of Kemet are considered, it can be seen that for the most part, or primarily 

(despite some exceptions) it is mostly they, the politically powerful, or wealthy or influential, 

the celebrities or elites of the day, that attain to the ascended state, not the ordinary man. 

Kemet was a free society, and one was able to gain influence through a number of ways. The priesthoods of Kemet stemming from Atlantis kept the nobility in order.

How does your framework deal with the matter of elitism? Elitism in this life that carries over 

to the next? How is it that a pharaoh lying, cheating etc etc gets to have an angelic glow and 

heavenly acclaim, but the poor and downtrodden who may have been more pious get only chump change 

or more drudgery on the other side? How would this be a proper result in a moral universe 

supposedly based on truth and justice?

What is the basis for one to become elite in the first place? Is the enlightenment of that individual what throws people to him/her to make them "elite" in the first place. As far as "lying" "cheating" pharaohs I'm not going to take an white person's interpretation of "Egyptology" to judge the character of one of our ancestors (save the whole battle of Kadesh bs). These people only recognize Kemet's greatness because it's in their face. They would readily credit any non African civilization over Kemet given the slightest chance. But anyway..
