A 90 year old work. It introduced me to Africana & Judaica as one 45 yrs ago. But first, `Am Yisael claims national origin in NK Egypt, Africa. Sacred to them, as idols are to other peoples, are five books, carried in procession as a scroll as others parade idols/icons. They state these books were revealed to their representative at their request, a man whose name is essentially the AEL word 'son'. They say he got the books from Deity on African ground, Mt Sinai. That makes Torah, the Five Books of Moshe, an African document <with immense borrowing from AEL moral spirituality in all TN"K>. Mt Sinai is part of the Great Rift, it's span, Malawi to Syria. Various Rift African people designate various Rift mountains holy. Kilimanjaro is a Rift mountain of Deity same as Horeb/Sinai. Agikuyu Mau-Mau noted resemblances to `Am Yisrael tribal lore. A beduin priest of Midian taught Moshe about the local Deity. Before then Moshe was learned in AE wisdom only, they say, and remember all the above is subjective Israel lore though a large percentage of people who pray do pray to that Deity i.e., Jews, Muslims, and some Christians. Here's a review of Godbey's work at the time it was published Zoomable img @ blackhistory938.files.wordpress.com/2017/06/yemen-falasha-beber-moorish-negro-jews-pg-257-2-3.jpg

On top of what he says above, Exodus states that a "mixed multitude" came out of Egypt, Exodus 12:37, 38 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, besides children.
And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks and herds -- very much cattle.
And of course Moses married a Kushite. This would be in addition to the intra-Palestinie links.
