I wanted these sisters opinions on the matter, I feel a bit of a daja vu in regards to Oj's case yrs ago, some of us celebrated others, guided by a sense of it's about time a Blackman beat the system, most remained smugly silent.
But with the Cos ,many had problems with him bro-beating young Black Ppl mainly males, to act a certain way. Yet everyone had nothing but respect for him and the real power he had acquired and was acquiring at the time. What sayz U ESR.

This seems to be a very convoluted issue regarding Bill Cosby in our community I really appreciate you sharing the views with the Karen Hunter Show...This is a show she did with Dr.Carr about Bill Cosby ..he throws a lots at us to think about here..On Cosby & Freedom.. Also your point about him bro-beating I took at the time a generational thing with him being a elder..so I gave him some slack..than later it appeared to be tone-deaf & a cover for his own predatory behavior behind the scenes... Another take....

there was no predatory behavior. Bill is and was a mega wealthy and influential Hollywood figure since the 60s. Women have been throwing themselves since forever. We used to call them GROUPIES and some how we forget that women do throw themselves and try to have sex with and party wealthy, famous, powerful, men. sex, drugs, rock and roll and all that. Bill Cosby did NOTHING. except be black, rich, male, heterosexual, and have enough balls to think about buying a major network. For that he was targeted.

Yeah I'm sure he was, but he did admitted he drugged at least some if them females, I'm old enough to remember something called Spanish Fly, I don't what it really did, but it was supposed to make girls horny or pliable, but no one as far as I remembered , looked on it as a date rape drug, it was just a thing, almost like slapping a chick on the ass. Since then there has been a culture shift, what was common back then is now criminal.

If you followed the facts you would see that Bill offered drugs to the ladies in question and they accepted.
This is still a common thing (so I'm told ) especially amongst the youth and entertainment set today as a prelude to sexual activity.
cocaine, weed, amphetamines, molly/ecstasy, heck ....even alcohol.
he did nothing. some of the so called victims even went back for seconds.

Interesting take on how some felt about what took place with the Cos. Yeah I saw this & looked at some of it..when it starts getting into buffoonery & caricature ..I start tuning out..altho he really got Judge Joe Brown down...This is something that seems to be dividing the community..but is serious which is rape culture be it Black white or other wise.I happen to agree with Mark Lamont Hill ,.... ,
