I wanna say who cares? The issue is how the Black population in Texas organize themselves to deal with the intentional denial and distortion of history,and the Hispanic people to a lesser degree because of the Chavez guy.
There shouldn't be a reason why we can't be competitive in the same nonsensical way that causes harm to other groups for our personal benefit. For us,it happens backwards where we work for and advance everybody else but our selves.

Yeah, things are getting very real & looks like what you are saying about the stuff hitting the fan is going to happen sooner or later...many in the astro community say look at Feb 22 2022 when America has it's Pluto return will be extact for the real shake up & beyond ..like what one of my close buddies told me when the talk of revolution was in the air late 60's.. & a lots of folks was getting their passports to leave the United Snakes of Amerakka he was from Texas & told me I ain't going no where..for this is my country too & I'm willing to fight the good fight.
