Wow!! I just posted something about Samuel Morton and his negative influence on Egyptian bio anthropology on Zarahan's thread and here you have Keita referring to him in this video, but all in all it does seems like the tables has been turned we are just waiting for layman and media to catch-up.

I think you'd be surprised at just how many laymen actually do know, its just that since history isn't their interest they don't pay much attention to it. When I bring it up I'm always surprised by how many people, (and I don't mean Afro diasporans) are just like , "Egypt's in Africa, what do you excpect"? Its only the issue of the modern population that people across the board seem to be confused about because the Western media has labled them Arabs. In any case, I've been noticing how in documentaries now, they are actualy using local actors from Upper Egypt to recreate scenes in the past and they are mentioning that the Nil valey was peopled by tribes moving up from the south. It would be great if anyone could get a hold of the documentary Mystery of the Black Mummy. It did a great job looking at the whole Saharan conection.
