While Genetics promises to change the way we look at each-other and debunk the old concept of race once and for all,new opportunities for social discrimination awaits in the field of genetics it self, this more likely will find it self in certain group's pre disposition for decease,
For example if you are genetically pre disposed to have high blood pressure, Cancer,etc.. you may well find that your insurance company raising your premium or your job prospect limited because they pre judge you as high risk without actually having the decease.
Those of us who have the financial means may well escape such burdens and pay for what is sure to be expensive gene therapy out of pocket so health and wealth may go hand in hand as it does now.
