Dedicated to the Egyptian people!
Thank god the CIA wasn't able to get in and thwart their things. They showed the world that the people have the power! As a JAmaican who grew up in Jamaica during Manley, it means a lot to me to see any people throw off the yoke of oppression. This is what Bob sang about and why even in the face of US intimidation we stood stead fast in our friendship with the Cuban people and rejoiced in their revolution. I think Jamaicans have a natural love of justice, Nanny, Paul Bogel, the Maroons, we understand the fight against oppression. Their victory is all our victory!

Yeah for the moment victory belongs to the people the ultimate result is still pending for the Army is now in control and they have been in control for 30yrs or more just that Mubarak was the front man he came from that class of generals and the U.S government finance them to the tune of billions one report is that Mubarak has more money than Gates. Lets wait and see what the generals will do next will they allow free and fair elections and if the U.S stops backing them the Saudis said they will.

I expect it will takeat least a year before they're really able to have elections because there aren't any political parties to speak of yet. But the people have come too far to have the same nonsense happen again. The fact that the military refused to move against the people says a lot. If they were hungry for power, they would have moved on Mubarak earlier in the game.
